The new 5,300 square foot building provides 32 private salon studios for rent, giving beauty professionals an opportunity to own and operate their own business without all the hassle and at a fraction of the cost. The new location features new aesthetic interior design, soft-close barn doors, ample private parking, and enhanced broadband for in-studio streaming.

Each studio can be personalized by the

iStudio Salons opens in Winter Garden

Florida’s premier salon suite concept opens tenth location 

With the demand for high-quality salon space at a fever pitch in the Orlando area, iStudio Salons announced their tenth location opening in Winter Garden this past week.  The growing salon suite company is now leasing space at its new location in the Tri-City Shopping Center at 1015A S. Dillard Street; 60 percent of the individual salons already have active tenants.

“Our team understands the needs of salon professionals and each of our salons are designed to fit the needs of our tenants,” said President James Schregardus.  “We aren’t successful until our salon professionals are successful, and we want to ensure each has a chance to achieve their dreams of salon ownership.”

The newest location of iStudio Salons is comprised of 33 private salon studios located in the heart of a prime retail district at the Tri-City Shopping Center.

“Our new Winter Garden location has great visibility and accessibility,” said Schregardus.  “We are excited about our continued growth in the Orlando area and are thrilled to be able to offer another space in Winter Garden.”

All of the salon professionals leasing space from iStudio Salons hold the key to their very own fully furnished private studio that they can adorn with décor from their unique style.  Each salon suite has high-end finishes, including custom cabinetry and specialty lighting.  The state-of-the-art atmosphere elevates the client experience by providing more individualized attention.  Independent stylists schedule their hours, keep 100 percent of their retail product earnings and maintain total control without the hassles, expense and drama of “traditional” salon ownership.

“We are providing stylists with the opportunity to own their own business, backed by the support of the iStudio Salons team,” said Vice-President Mark Abbett.  “For roughly the same cost as renting a chair in a traditional salon, they can have their own salon and the perfect balance of freedom and support.”

Started in 2010 in Maitland, iStudio Salons was created by cousins Schregardus and Abbett.  The two have seen the concept grow to seven locations in the Orlando area, two in Ft. Introducing iStudio Salons University. Where we help you in your business venture to become a successful salon owner. The following class list is open to all iStudio Salons Professionals free of charge. We want to ensure you are successful!


  • Intro to Studio Ownership (2 hours) In this class we go over the basics of business ownership. We introduce you to the world of business management, accepting credit cards (we have an exclusive rate with Square of 2.2% which could save you thousands per year), and paying taxes. We also introduce you to our staff. We will explain our Maintenance Request Form and how to submit a ticket. Topics covered include general business practices, submitting sales tax, registering your business name, the difference between LLC, Sole Proprietorship, Incorporated, etc. We also cover General Liability Insurance topics.

Tips and Tricks to Generating New Clients (and Retaining Old Clients) (3 hours) In this class we teach you tried and true methods to generate new business leads and retain the business you have. Learn these marketing methods to land more business and referrals. Topics include but are not limited to how to successfully advertise on Yelp and Groupon. How to use a lead capture method, email newsletters, texting services, and business marketing materials.

Beginner Social Media (4 hours) New to the world of social media? That’s perfectly okay. In this class, we will go over the basics of setting up business profiles on the most relevant social media websites. You will leave the class with an Instagram, a proper Facebook business page connected to your personal Facebook page, a Twitter and a LinkedIn – all properly linked and connected together. You will also learn basic tips and tricks to use on each platform.

Intermediate Social Media (3 hours) Have a profile on most social media outlets but don’t really know what you’re doing? In this class we cover topics from simple advertising, to tips and tricks to grow your following. We also go more in depth about linking the profiles together in the correct order and to make sure that what you are posting is going through the correct outlet. We will briefly touch on contests, running ads, and boosting posts.

Advanced Social Media (4 hours) This is the bread and butter of social media and how to make money using it. We use third party applications linked to your Facebook page to boost the posts and direct people to a payment link so they can prepare for their appointment. We also set up a platform to book your appointments and integrate it with your social media. Lastly, we complete an actual Facebook campaign from start to finish. Please do not sign up for this class unless you have taken Intermediate Social Media. Some exceptions will be made if are socially savvy. An approval will be needed to skip Intermediate Social Media. Website Design and Development (8 hours) This this very advanced class, Jessilyn will teach you how to build a website from start to finish. You will purchase a domain name that is significant to your business, host it and forward it to your brand new website. You will then learn plug-ins and how they work and will leave the class with a basic knowledge of website design and depending on how quickly you learn you may leave the class with a brand new website.
